Laser or Ink

The speed of work is also an important factor in many offices while choosing a certain quality of printer. The color laser printers are the most optimal choice after considering this factor also. Any low quality laser printer can produce 10-15 pages in a minute while the most expensive of inkjet printers cannot even manage this speed. Printers used in offices should be suited for high volume printing and this is what laser printers can only achieve. In addition, the toner of such printers has a high life than those of inkjet printers.

Printers are one of the most necessary equipments to be used in offices these days. However, the decision to get any of these printers depends on several factors including costs, speed of work and the quality of print. As far as the cost is concerned, inkjet printers are quite cheap as compared to color laser printers.  In addition, the ink cartridges used by inkjet printers are cheaper than laser color toners. Therefore, you can expect the same kind of output in terms of graphics, photos and text through an inkjet toner like that from a laser printer, although at a lower rate.

However, for many companies the print resolution is such an important part of their overall print appearance. In addition, for such companies, the laser printers are the most optimal choice. The reason is that inkjet printers apply a print head that sprays ink on the paper through its tiny nozzles. However, the laser printers use a drum to produce ink on paper. This is the reason why the print produced by laser printers is more durable too. In addition, color laser printers can produce first-rate print on any paper quality used by them, but the same is not true for inkjet printers. Since inkjet cartridges for colored printers are quite expensive than laser printers, the printing cost per page with the latter is quite less.
